MATTGLOSS Studio is developed by MATT GLOSS ("we", "us"), based in South Australia. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can access, correct or delete it.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics of any kind.
Solely to operate the app: to generate your restyles, calculate an indicative renovation cost, save your history so you can return to past results, and enforce the daily generation limit. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your photos to train any model.
Restyle packs are bought through Google Play's billing system, not through us directly. Google handles the transaction and your payment details — we never see or store your card number or other payment information.
When a purchase completes, we record which pack was bought, the number of restyles it added, the date, and the Google Play order reference. This lets us credit your account correctly and resolve a dispute or refund if one is ever needed. As explained in section 5, this record is kept even if you later delete your account.
To generate a restyle, your photo is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. This means your photo may be processed on infrastructure located outside Australia, including in the United States, under Google's own privacy and data-handling terms — see Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control where Google processes this request and cannot guarantee it stays within Australia.
Everything else — your account record, saved restyles and cost estimates — is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure located in Sydney, Australia.
Your restyles are kept until you delete them, individually or by deleting your account. Deleting your account removes every restyle, your account record, and your sign-in identity permanently — this cannot be undone.
The one exception is purchase records. If you've bought a restyle pack, we keep the pack, date and Google Play order reference for tax and dispute-resolution purposes, as required by law — even after your account is deleted. This record stands on its own: once deletion is complete, it isn't linked to any restyle, photo, or account you can sign back into.
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first at the email below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Your restyles and account data are protected by Firebase security rules that restrict access to your own signed-in account. No one else can read your photos, restyles or estimates.
MATTGLOSS Studio is not directed at, or intended for use by, children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent update.
